Netflix unveils first trailer for the The Devil All The Time

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

Netflix has released the first trailer for their "suspenseful" and "finely-woven" tale, THE DEVIL ALL THE TIME, based on Donald Ray Pollock's award-winning novel.

The film is set to hit the streamer on September 16, 2020, and it features a truly stacked cast that includes Tom Holland, Bill Skarsgård, Riley Keough, Jason Clarke, Sebastian Stan, Haley Bennett, Harry Melling, Eliza Scanlen, Pokey LaFarge with Mia Wasikowska and Robert Pattinson. The always interesting Antonio Campos is helming the project and judging from all the pedigree involved, this could be one of the more anticipated releases of the year. Check out the official synopsis from Netflix below.

"In Knockemstiff, Ohio and its neighboring backwoods, sinister characters — an unholy preacher (Robert Pattinson), twisted couple (Jason Clarke and Riley Keough), and crooked sheriff (Sebastian Stan) — converge around young Arvin Russell (Tom Holland) as he fights the evil forces that threaten him and his family. Spanning the time between World War II and the Vietnam war, director Antonio Campos’ THE DEVIL ALL THE TIME renders a seductive and horrific landscape that pits the just against the corrupted. Co-starring Bill Skarsgård, Mia Wasikowska, Harry Melling, Haley Bennett and Pokey LaFarge, this suspenseful, finely-woven tale is adapted from Donald Ray Pollock's award-winning novel."

I'm actually really looking forward to watching this, based on the cast alone. Will YOU be checking out THE DEVIL ALL THE TIME? The film hits the streamer on September 16, 2020. Check out the official key art below!
