Earlier this week a roar came out of the 1.18.08 camp, and today… more fun goodies to keep yer interests piqued! Or you may be sick of hearing about it, even though you have to admit that the flick will likely be flippin’ awesome once it’s released.

A description of a new trailer for the film is over at AICN, and boy does it sound sweet. Not because it’s something new, but because it’s more than a party and shit blowing up- apparently it takes place after the initial teaser we saw, and features MORE chaos and MORE monstrous happenings.

Here’s just a taste of what the new trailer may be showing us: US Army soldiers storm in shouting at them, demanding they drop they’re weapons, they shout back they’re unarmed, there’s a lot of commotion, then they’re herded briskly up some E.T style scientific tubing into a makeshift aid center, its very dark, threes lots of doctors tending to wounded and military walking about making the scene very busy. “What is that thing?” they ask as they catch their breath, the cryptic answer comes from a soldier “We don’t know, but it’s winning”

And it just gets better and better from there. Go ahead and click HERE to check out the full madness of it all. If it pans out the way people are thinking it will, this is gonna be one CRAZY monster movie, and may even be THE MOTHER of ALL monster movies! That’s saying a lot, I know, but damn if this doesn’t sound cool!

Trailer here is still considered ‘rumor’ at this point, considering nothing is official until it’s official, but it sounds legit enough. I guess we’ll see… hopefully we won’t have to wait too much longer to check it out.
