Next Friday will see the theatrical and VOD release of Derek Lee and Clif Prowse's AFFLICTED, a found footage thriller that looks promising as hell. Shock Till You Drop scored an alternate movie poster for the film featuring the work of artist Matt Ryan Tobin. Tobin is also the crazy talented mind behind that kickass poster for HONEYSPIDER we saw a few weeks ago. While the found-footage sub genre has been wearing quite thin lately, the early word on AFFLICTED has been nothing but positive so I guess there's still hope for films of the shaky cam variety. Here's the synopsis:
This terrifying horror thriller follows two best friends who set out on the trip of a lifetime around the world. Their journey, documented every step of the way, soon takes a dark and unexpected turn after an encounter with a beautiful woman in Paris leaves one of them mysteriously afflicted.
AFFLICTED comes out in theaters and on VOD April 4th.
