Found footage naysayers are said to be having their minds completely changed by the power of AFFLICTED, the critically acclaimed festival hit by Derek Lee and Clif Prowse. The thriller, which won Best Horror Film at last year’s Fantastic Fest, was picked up quickly by CBS Films and will be getting a theatrical release this spring.
Which brings us to the official trailer for AFFLICTED, which is pretty badass. It might be a bit spoiler-y, so watch at your own risk, but if you need a peek at some potentially terrific horror coming down the way, you’ll want to check this out.
Here’s the synopsis:
This terrifying horror thriller follows two best friends who set out on the trip of a lifetime around the world. Their journey, documented every step of the way, soon takes a dark and unexpected turn after an encounter with a beautiful woman in Paris leaves one of them mysteriously afflicted.
AFFLICTED comes out in theaters and on VOD April 4th.
