FX’s “American Horror Story: Coven” will commence airing this October, and just as the network did last year, it’s teasing us with a series of surreal ads leading up to the premiere date. The latest is called “Stakes,” and you’ll see why below. Pretty cool. (Or hot, as it were.)

The latest season of “American Horror Story” focuses on a coven of witches living in New Orleans. “Coven” is said to move back and forth in time and incorporate actual historical characters into its creepy narrative.

Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson, Kathy Bates, Patti Lupone, Evan Peters, Alexandra Breckinridge, Denis O’Hare, Angela Bassett and Emma Roberts (pictured below) star in “American Horror Story: Coven”, which kicks off on October 9th.
