20th Century Fox unleashed a slew of new images for a batch of their films coming out this year, and low and behold, there’s a few new stills of Vin Diesel rockin’ another sci-fi action role in the upcoming BABYLON AD!
I’m a fan of Diesel and the RIDDICK series, so to see him back in the saddle again is pretty freakin’ cool. We caught a tease of the film way back in May when the badboy was filming (check that shite out HERE), and now we have another glimpse of the bald muscle man looking as annoyed and irritated as ever.
My only problem? The above pic is essentially the same pic we saw back in May, only at a slightly different angle. What gives? Yep, there’s Diesel, yep, there’s snipper lasers pointed at him… there has to be more than this!
Oh wait… there are. Two other pics surfaces as well, and at least they show us something a little different. For those not in the know, BABYLON AD goes like this: Vin Diesel stars as a mercenary hired to deliver a package from the ravages of post-apocalyptic Eastern Europe to a destination in the teeming megalopolis of New York City. The “package” is a mysterious young woman with a secret.
This beast has potential, and the new pics aren’t half bad! Have fun with Vinny below, and get ready for BABYLON AD in theaters on Judgment Day (August 29th), 2008.
