I have a couple more new images from Empire for you this morning, but this time they are behind-the-scenes pics from X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST and DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES. Director Bryan Singer is front and center in the image from X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST, but it also features cast members Hugh Jackman, Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy and Nicholas Hoult wearing 1970's attire. Side note: I f*cking love the shirt McAvoy is wearing under his jacket.
The new BTS image from DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES may not have flashy shirts, or Jackman and Fassbender looking cool as hell, but it does have Andy Serkis in motion capture gear, which in my opinion is just as awesome. I thought the teaser trailer for DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES was fantastic, and I'm pumped to see Serkis playing Caesar again. He did an outstanding job in the first film, and with the new movie looking like it will have more action than the last, I'm very excited to see what he does with the primate character.
X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST will hit theaters on May 23rd, 2014, and DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES will be released on July 11th, 2014.
