New candid photo of Chris Pratt and a velociraptor from Jurassic World

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

While many were lukewarm on the first trailer for JURASSIC WORLD, there is no question that one of the most talked about moments in the preview was the scene of Chris Pratt riding a motorcycle alongside a pack of tamed velociraptors. The entire sequence seemed so batshit crazy that fans couldn’t decide if it was a fresh take on the series or the moment it jumped the shark.

To commemorate this buzzed about scene, director Colin Trevorrow has tweeted a new shot of Pratt standing alongside a raptor.

To be honest, I never looked at JURASSIC WORLD any differently than JURASSIC PARK. Both seemed incredible fantasy films to me that happened to showcase dinosaurs. To me, there is nothing off the wall about seeing the tamed raptors or the hybrid beasts teased in the trailer. I just want to see something better than JURASSIC PARK III and THE LOST WORLD. As long as the movie is a worthy successor to Steven Spielberg‘s original, I am all in.

JURASSIC WORLD opens on June 12, 2015.
