New clip from The Expendables 2 features a motorcyle, a helicopter, and a water slide

The old school action boys are back in action next week in THE EXPENDABLES 2 and have decided to grace us with another short clip from the upcoming romp, this time featuring the ingenuity of the gang with their use of a motorcyle as a missile and a water tower as a water slide…the bad kind.

If you stop to think about it, these stunts exist purely to create some over-the-top action, seeing as it makes no sense that a motorcyle or a water tower would serve as better weapons than an aimed shot from a semi-automatic weapon.  But, stopping and thinking is not something that will contribute to your enjoyment of the film.  You just have to smile, shake your head, and say, “You guuuyyysss.”

Choose your weapon:

I’m a little concerned about the CGI in this clip as that helicopter couldn’t look more like a video game if it tried.  Hopefully, there’s still a little tweaking to be done before release…but I doubt it.

Directed by Simon West (CON AIR) and starring Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bruce Willis, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Terry Crews, Dolph Lundgren, Jean Claude Van Damme, Liam Hemsworth, Randy Couture, and Nan Yu Business, THE EXPENDABLES 2 unleashes the bad puns and poorly aimed shots on August 17, 2012.
