One international flick we’ve been telling you about for a while now is French zombie film THE HORDE. Hell it seems like we’ve been talking about this thing forever now, with the last update coming back in January. So what do we have for you all today? Oh we’ve got lots of HORDE goods for you to enjoy!

A posse of crooked cops, malevolent gangsters and a horde of walking dead the centre point of this gruesome, tight, action packed, claustrophobic tale of retribution and escape. Penned like animals, on the top floor of a deserted high-rise block, these two opposing gangs find that they are not alone in the lair of bloodthirsty corridors of death. Joining forces to survive, they must reach ground level together or perish. Loaded with a bad ass attitude, guns, axes and extremely creative hand-to-hand combat sequences that project the fears and paranoia that are the fighting forces behind the need to survive, when caught up in the wrong place at the wrong time.
THE HORDE, which comes from the directing duo of Yannick Dahan and Benjamin Rocher, stars Eriq Ebouaney, Jo Prestia, Aurelien Recoing, Jean-Pierre Martins and Claude Perron. Back in February it hit France in a limited release of 200 screens. Later this year IFC Films will be hitting the US with this bad boy, though no solid release dates are known just yet. As soon as we hear more we’ll be sure to pass the word along to all of you!
