A new viral video for DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES has been released, charting the outbreak of the simian flu, as well as teasing the rise of the apes. The video is various news reports about the H7N9 virus, and kind of reminds me of the opening credits "shit's going down" montage from 2004's DAWN OF THE DEAD.

"All regular government functions have been suspended indefinitely."

A new DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES trailer will also be released sometime next week, and I'm hoping it won't show us too much more than what we've already seen from the upcoming movie. In my opinion the marketing for DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES has done a great job teasing what to expect in Matt Reeves' new movie without using too many money shots. It looks like the battle between the apes and humans is going to be very intense, and I wonder what will be the spark that ignites the flames of war between the two groups. All will be revealed in less than a month though, so like I said, I really don't want to see anything more from DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES.

DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES will wage war in theaters on July 11, 2014.
