A week ago we showed you the teaser trailer to this August’s DISTRICT 9 (check that shit out HERE), and now that we’ve gotten our acts together and following this sucker closely, we have another treat for ya–the film’s latest poster!
Courtesy of Yahoo!Movies, the new poster features that alien silhouette that we’ve all come to know and love, set up as a shooting target and riddled with bullet holes. Nice! I’m also digging the flying object in the background… it’s a tease, and it leaves a lot to the imagination.
Just what the hell is DISTRICT 9 anyway? Well, if you must know… An extraterrestrial race forced to live in slum-like conditions on Earth suddenly find a kindred spirit in a government agent that is exposed to their biotechnology.
Say what? I don’t know… but the new poster is cool, it features aliens, and it’s from producer Peter Jackson. That’s all I need to know! Enjoy the teaser trailer again (below), and get ready for DISTRICT 9 in theaters August 14th.
