With the recent trailer announcement earlier this week (HERE) and the FRIDAY THE 13TH: THE SERIES hitting DVD on Tuesday, I’m finding myself more and more pumped up for some killer FRIDAY THE 13TH action. Lucky for me, I won’t have to wait until next month for a little F13 love.
The boys at B-D scored a few new stills from the FRIDAY THE 13TH remake, and while they essentially showcase the victims from the film (and not that lovable masked killer), at least they’re something, right???
And by victims, I mean just one, as each of the three new pics features Arlen Escarpeta aka Lawrence, a guy who is obviously going to die–and die hard. My guess? The frying pan he’s holding in one of the pics will be used against him… I could be wrong, but a guy can dream, can’t he!
The more I think about this ‘remake’ the more I can’t wait for it. Because, let’s face it: with Jason Voorhees and his hockey mask in the picture, it can’t be a full on remake of the original, so (really) it’s just another sequel–and who doesn’t want to see Jason f*ck some more people up???
