The HIGHLANDER series for me has been like heroin (or rather what people have told me heroin is like). That first hit was f*cking magical, but every subsequent experience has been less and less satisfying. Yet I still come back to it every time just in case it will recapture that first experience, even though I know it will never happen.
Quiet a sad addiction really, but now The Film Asylum reports that HIGHLANDER: THE SOURCE has just wrapped filming in Lithuania, and I’m jonesin’ again. Adrian Paul will be the star and the flick is the first in a planned trilogy exploring the origins of the immortals.
That sounds pretty sweet, and if they’re planning a trilogy then that indicates real promise. Maybe it’ll be good again this time, right…right…please?
