New horror anthology series Horror Accidental coming to Quibi

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

HORROR ACCIDENTAL was a Japanese horror anthology series, which "centers around everyday situations normal people find themselves in and the horrific possibilities that lurk around every corner in our modern world." The segments were short, sweet, and often terrifying.

Now new streaming service Quibi has tapped writer Evan Daugherty (upcoming ANACONDA reboot) to develop a remake of HORROR ACCIDENTAL for the platform, with a goal to make a “terrifyingly addictive” horror experience. Meanwhile, Quibi's other major horror series 50 STATES OF FRIGHT, created by Sam Raimi, is out now and just released a new clip.

No release date as of yet for HORROR ACCIDENTAL, but we'll keep you posted.

So what do you guys think? Anyone see the original Japanese series? If so, what are your thoughts? Either way, sound off below!
