UPDATE: Apparently, I got sidetracked by Alice Eve in her unmentionables to notice a url just off to the left of her on the wall, which led to a new poster for the film. Check it out below!

The new international trailer for J.J. Abrams‘ STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS is here and ready to go where no man has gone before, especially since it’s chock full of new footage.  From our first look at Peter Weller, more U.S.S. Enterprise, and Alice Eve in her bra and panties, this one has got all the goods of the previous trailers and then some!

Beam up!:

Cloaked in secrecy and riddled with mystery, the sequel to Abrams’ reboot is looking every bit the EMPIRE STRIKES BACK of the new series. Credit where it’s due, Benedict Cumberbatch‘s enigmatic villain oozes malice and every syllable from his mouth seems to invoke terror. We all know that the villain can make or break any movie and judging by what we’ve seen just in pics and trailers thus far, I think it’s safe to say that Cumberbatch has got this one in the bag, whether he turns out to be the oft-rumored Khan or someone else.

STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS, starring Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Zoe Saldana, Benedict Cumberbatch, Alice Eve, Karl Urban, Anton Yelchin, Simon Pegg, John Cho, Peter Weller, Bruce Greenwood, is set to take to the stars on May 17, 2013.
