Yesterday I told you all about the cast for SOLOMON KANE. You remember how I said the flick feels way too much like VAN HELSING? And how I was hoping more media for the film would seperate it from HELSING. Well the new poster for SOLOMON KANE does not help it’s case.
Check it out above. The guys over at Dread Central scored that today and I have to say… where’s Hugh Jackman? Didn’t think this film could get more like VAN HELSING, but that poster helps. Personally I like the first poster better.
SOLOMON KANE is about a 16th century soldier who learns that his brutal and cruel actions have damned him but is determined to redeem himself by living peaceably. But he finds himself dragged out of retirement for a fight against evil. It’s directed by Michael J. Bassett, who also wrote the script. KANE is the first of three films that are based off the stories of Robert E. Howard. It stars Max von Sydow, Pete Postlethwaite, Rachel Hurd-Wood (below), Alice Krige, Mackenzie Crook and James Purefoy as the titular character.
