Enjoying an awfully apt Halloween release date in Canada (theatrically) is Todd Langseth’s STINGY JACK, a movie we first wrote about way the hell back in November of 2008. 2008!

Anyway, we’re glad to see the film – which runs at 120 minutes – is finally starting to find its way into the world for viewing. Peep the fresh one-sheet we have for the shite…which wisely touts the presence of genre legends Bill Moseley, Kane Hodder and Michael Berryman!

With storyline consultation by the great Harry Manfredini (who also composes), STINGY JACK picks up after:

Dr. David Wells thought he made the perfect move from bustling New York City, to peaceful Emerson Falls. Gradually, as the family settles into their new home, the town’s dark secrets are revealed that point to a horrible tragedy 28 years ago, that left a young boy dead, and the townspeople fearing for their lives. The family soon discovers there’s more to the town than meets the eye. The age-old legend of Jack Hawthorne is real. And Dr. Wells must find a way to protect his family from what is known as Stingy Jack.

Lew Temple, Tiffany Shepis (below), Priscilla Barnes, Tony Moran, Michelle Page, Eileen Dietz and George Katt help level out the supporting team.

Until we hear more, check out the Official Site for the film.
