New Penny Dreadful teaser gives you an eyeful

Showtime has debuted a vivid new teaser trailer for their summer horror series “Penny Dreadful”. As you’ll see below, the spot takes us inside – and outside – the minds of the show’s morbid main characters, ultimately revealing that the tortured protagonists aren’t as alone as they may have thought.

The series draws from famous works of literature, posing that some of the most terrifying protagonists — Dr. Frankenstein and his creature, Dorian Gray, Dracula’s Van Helsing and more — come together in Victorian London.

Airing on May 11th, “Penny Dreadful” stars Josh Hartnett, Eva Green, Timothy Dalton, Reeve Carney, Rory Kinnear, Harry Treadaway, Billie Piper and Danny Sapani.
