New poster and final TV spots for Rambo: Last Blood are ready for war

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

With less than ten days to go until the release of RAMBO: LAST BLOOD, it should come as no surprise that the last drops of promotional material for the film are being squeezed by the powers that be. As such. Lionsgate has unleashed a new poster as well as the final TV spots for the film, which is set to bring the pain in theaters on September 20th.

While the TV spots offer enough carnage and quality tension to get your blood pumping, the new poster also serves as a sweet reminder that John Rambo is back, and he's brought his trusty Bowie knife along for the ride. That serrated blade has seen plenty of action throughout the years, and I don't know about you, but I think it looks thirsty.

Heres' the logline for RAMBO: LAST BLOOD:

When the daughter of one of his friends is kidnapped, Rambo (Stallone) — who has been working on a ranch — crosses the U.S.-Mexico border and quickly finds himself up against the full might of one of Mexico’s most violent cartels.

Joining Stallone for what's being presented as his last turn as John Rambo are Adriana Barraza as Rambo's friend Maria; Yvette Monreal as Maria's granddaughter Gabrielle; Sergio Peris-Mencheta as murderous cartel leader Hugo Martinez; Óscar Jaenada as Victor Martinez; Paz Vega as Carmen Delgado, "a reporter who covers the Mexican drug trade and teams up with Rambo after her younger half-sister is kidnapped"; and Joaquin Cosio in a role that has yet to be revealed.

It won't be long now before Rambo unleashes his anger on those who've wronged him, and I am here for it. Like countless others, I grew up watching Stallone slice and dice his way through enemy soldiers for the Rambo franchise, and I'll be damned if I'm not ready to watch the character do it again. Long live John Rambo, because "to win a war, you gotta become war."
