RENFIELD: THE UNDEAD premiered at the Bram Stoker Film Festival last year, but now it’s gearing up for its American debut at the 44th annual WorldFest on April 15 in Houston, TX. Tickets can be purchased here. A new poster for the film can be found below.
R. N. Renfield, the mad slave of the evil vampire Count Dracula, is now himself an insane vampire stalking a modern day metropolis (Bayou City). Known as “The Bayou City Butcher”, a serial killer, Renfield is relentlessly pursued by Paul Cranston, a driven British detective who always gets his man. Renfield is also sought by Mina Harker, now a vampire, and her half vampire son Quincy. It is a thrilling game of cat and mouse in which Renfield reveals his ancient history with the vampire lord Dracula and battles not only the mortals of Bayou City but the forces of darkness as well.
The film directed by Bob Willems and written by Phil Nichols. Nichols also stars as the titular Renfield, alongside Keli Wolfe, Paul Damon, Calvin Lafton, Sam Martinez, Roxy Hixon, Tyler Tackett and John Stevens. More information about the film can be found on its official site.
