With AMERICAN HORROR STORY: ASYLUM premiering on October 17th, FX has revved up the marketing. We brought you the first creepy teasers last week and they did not disappoint. The surreal imagery from the first season teasers definitely set up the disturbing elements of the show. Whether they fully delivered or not is debatable.

If I had to judge ASYLUM based solely on the teaser videos and posters, I would say creator Ryan Murphy is planning to up the ante in every way possible. Torture, body parts, nuns, and vaginal bathtubs all appear in these images which may disturb you. For those of you who like to be disturbed, enjoy.

AMERICAN HORROR STORY: ASYLUM is currently filming and takes place in a 1950s set mental hospital. Stars Jessica Lange, Zachary Quinto, Sara Paulson, and Lily Rabe return from season one while James Cromwell, Adam Levine and Joseph Fiennes join the cast.

I like my horror creepy and surreal and these do the trick. I am looking forward to the premiere on October 17th.
