New posters for Mad Max: Fury Road & Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Maggie

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Mad Max: Fury Road Maggie

The first poster for MAGGIE has landed online, as well as a sweet new MAD MAX: FURY ROAD poster. We'll start with MAGGIE since it is opening before (although it will be a limited theatrical and VOD release) the new Mad Max flick.

A couple of weeks ago we saw Arnold Schwarzenegger shed a tear in the first look at the zombie drama from director Henry Hobson, and Schwarzenegger and his zombified daughter (ZOMBIELAND's Abigail Breslin) are featured on the debut poster for the upcoming film. It's kind of plain, but sometimes less is more, and I'm really digging this poster. MAGGIE will premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival on April 22, 2015, and is set to be released on May 8, 2015.

The latest MAD MAX: FURY ROAD poster isn't bad, however it's pretty tame compared to the insane trailers for the George Miller film. While last week we learned that Tom Hardy is contracted for three sequels, another movie (or three) isn't going to happen if the film doesn't perform well at the box office. I have a feeling even if MAD MAX: FURY ROAD underperforms at domestic theaters, it will still do very solid numbers worldwide, but the question is will it be enough to warrant a sequel? MAD MAX: FURY ROAD hits theaters on May 15, 2015.
