We’ve just uploaded a whole bunch of new stills to our PRINCE OF PERSIA page, and you can see some of the better ones below. Say what you will about the film, but it does have some pretty damn gorgeous scenery and costumes, and it is nice to see how much effort is finally being poured into a story based on a video game.
Whether or not PRINCE OF PERSIA actually become the first real GOOD video game movie is another story entirely, and I’m cautiously optimistic, seeing as its fiercest competition is the original RESIDENT EVIL. Persia had a good story, but there are far better video game tales out there to be told. *cough*masseffect*cough*
