New promo for The X-Files has a promise of monsters

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Fox's onslaught of promos for The X-Files shows no sign of slowing down, so I hope fans of the show are enjoying these quick looks at what's ahead in its upcoming six episode revival.

The latest promo can be seen below, and it brings with it a promise of monsters, filling its few seconds with glimpses of what I assume are primarily the characters at the center of the short season's "case of the week" episodes. Some of these folks look like they will be quite creepy and cool.

David Duchovny, Gillian Anderson William B. Davis, Mitch Pileggi, Bruce Harwood, Tom Braidwood, Dean Haglund, Robbie Amell, Lauren Ambrose, Rhys Darby, and Kumail Nanjiani star in this new edition of the popular series.

The premiere episode, entitled "My Struggle" with air on Fox on Sunday, January 24 and

centers on Mulder (Duchovny) and Scully (Anderson) investigating Annet Mahendru's character, who is believed to be a "possible alien abductee," according to Joel McHale's character, a conservative talk show host who gives Mulder and Scully the tip to investigate her.
