The release date for James Wan's FAST AND FURIOUS 7 has been changed again. The film was originally set to be released this summer before Paul Walker was killed in a car accident last year. After Universal decided to move forward with the seventh installment in the franchise, it was announced the film will be in theaters on April 10, 2015. It has now been moved up a week to April 3, 2015, and will open against the Nicholas Sparks adaptation THE LONGEST RIDE.

INSIDIOUS: CHAPTER 3 starring Dermot Mulroney was also set to open on April 3, 2015, however it has been moved almost two months back to May 29, 2015.

It's probably a good thing the release date for Leigh Whannell's first feature film was moved since FAST AND FURIOUS 7 is going to be a huge movie, and likely wouldn't stand a chance opening against the action flick. It also would have been a little weird for FAST AND FURIOUS 7 director James Wan, who created the INSIDIOUS franchise and was behind the camera for the first two movies.

Which movie are you the most excited to see next year: FAST AND FURIOUS 7 or INSIDIOUS: CHAPTER 3?
