New set image from Colin Trevorrow’s Jurassic World teases new dinosaur

Director Colin Trevorrow has tweeted an image from the set of his upcoming JURASSIC WORLD, giving us a first look at the new dinosaur appearing in the film. Ok, so you can't actually see the creature, but there is a silhouette of a pair of massive jaws. It could be a T-Rex shadow, however I think the jaws look a little too long for a T-Rex, and there's a good chance it is the "modified" dino we learned about last month. The image is also proof at least one of the dinosaurs will be done with a large puppet instead of using CGI, which is fantastic news in my opinion.

"God creates man. Man destroys God. Man creates dinosaurs…"

Pictures of Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard and Ty Simpkins are great, but we all know who the real stars of JURASSIC WORLD will be, and hopefully we'll get a real first look at some of the dinos in the near future.

JURASSIC WORLD will be in theaters on June 12, 2015.
