SHUTTER, the latest Americanized J-Horror remake (see The Arrow’s review of the original flick HERE), is gearing up for release this month, which means that the unveiling of a new poster was inevitable.
But this? This is the new poster? After busting out with the first kick ass poster, how do they then release this crap? Seriously, I thought they’d be better than this – but this? This is amateur hour at best.
Maybe it’s the giant red skull in the background, or the emphasis on the same tagline used for any number of Sarah Michelle Gellar movies, but something about this new poster stinks to high heaven. The only upside? Hottie Rachael Taylor standing in nothing but a T-shirt. Now that’s f*cking hot – unfortunately, it doesn’t save the poster from being a piece of crap.
But hey, that’s just my sorry ass opinion. You could think it’s the best poster in the world and want it framed as the centerpiece in your living room. Hey man, whatever, opinions are like a-holes… though, if you really did put this up in your living room, I think you’d be the only a-hole around here…
SHUTTER hits theaters everywhere March 21st.
