A spoiler for one person can be old news to another. With that being said, Total Film has a new image from THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 that some might consider to be a spoiler. Without revealing too much here, the new image features Spider-Man fighting one of the villains in the upcoming film. The picture is also possibly the best look yet at the character, so if you're still interested, I'll meet you after the spoiler buffer.
Still with me? Ok, so the new image is of Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man battling with Dane DeHaan's Green Goblin. Like I said, it's a fantastic look at Green Goblin, even though some people aren't pleased with the character's design for Marc Webb's film. Their location looks like it's the same one featured a few times in the trailers, including a couple involving Emma Stone's Gwen Stacy.
Clearly this location is going to be the scene for an important moment in the film. At some point in one of the movies Gwen Stacy will be killed, but will it be in this one, and is this where she will meet her end? I think they're going to keep her around until at least the third film, however there is a chance she'll die in this movie. I'm just speculating, but we all know Miss Stacey won't have too many more appearances in the franchise.
THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 will be in theaters on May 2nd, 2014.
