Seth MacFarlane’s TED was a box office success and the inevitable sequel was only a matter of time. Well that time is now as TED 2 is in production and returning star Mark Wahlberg has a great new image to share with us. The first film made over $500 million at the worldwide box office, which is a huge feat as first feature film which had an R rating no less. If you enjoyed it TED, then you’re likely looking forward to the sequel. Fans hoping to get more Flash Gordon references this time around will be happy with this one.

We still don’t really know much about the sequel other than the fact that Mila Kunis has a smaller role while Amanda Seyfried takes on the lead female role. I’m going to assume that had to do with scheduling or perhaps MacFarlane saw something more in Seyfried on the set of A MILLION WAYS TO DIE IN THE WEST and brought her on over for this comedy; maybe as a way of saying sorry? I kid (not kidding).
TED 2 opens in theaters on June 26, 2015.
