New trailer for AMC’s The Walking Dead season 3 reveals new footage and plot details

JoBloJoBlo

I can’t say I’m ecstatic about the mid-season break of AMC’s The Walking Dead, but perhaps the wait helps build anticipation and makes it seem like a nice, little treat.  Such is the case with this season, arguably the most dynamic of them all, and rightly so given the source material.  We’ve had some sad deaths (and some really cool ones), new character intros, and a tension brewing far greater than the show has seen so far.  At least, that’s my take.

Today, we have another 60-second promo highlighting the second half of the season (8 episodes left!), which shows a few signature moments, namely The Governor (David Morrissey) doning his eye-patch, Andrea reuniting with her old crew, if even temporarily, and the build-up to the inevitable showdown between Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and the Governor.  As a fan of the comics and the show, I’m looking forward to seeing how it all shakes out.

Have a look:

AMC’s The Walking Dead returns on February 10, 2013.
