A new trailer for The Northman has been released and it gives a fresh look at Robert Eggers’ Viking epic that is already generating a ton of buzz.
Starring Alexander Skarsgård, Nicole Kidman, Claes Bang, Anya Taylor-Joy, Ethan Hawke, Björk, and Willem Dafoe, the film is an “action-filled epic that follows a young Viking prince on his quest to avenge his father’s murder.” Our very own Chris Bumbray already reviewed the film and he called it “one of the most immersive historical films” he had ever seen.
The Northman had its world premiere in Stockholm on March 28, 2022, and is scheduled to be released in the United States on April 22, 2022, by Focus Features. It’s arguably one of the most anticipated films of the year and given the early good reception, fans are bound to love what Robert Eggers has done next.
