A new poster for DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES has made its way online, as well as a new television spot for the upcoming film. I was pleasantly surprised by RISE OF THE PLANET OF THE APES, and Matt Reeves' sequel looks like it's going to be much bigger than the first movie. The TV spot does contain some awesome new footage, including a couple of shots of a few of those damn dirty apes riding horses. The new poster from Collider features Caesar and a baby chimp, and based on the look on Caesar's face, he's going to do everything in his power to protect the infant.

Take a look:

Synopsis:

"A growing nation of genetically evolved apes led by Caesar is threatened by a band of human survivors of the devastating virus unleashed a decade earlier. They reach a fragile peace, but it proves short-lived, as both sides are brought to the brink of a war that will determine who will emerge as Earth's dominant species."

DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES starring Gary Oldman, Andy Serkis, Jason Clarke and Judy Greer will be in theaters on July 11th, 2014.
