A new TV spot has swung online for THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN featuring a few snippets of as-yet-unseen footage and a promotion for a four-minute-long “super preview” that will make its debut on the season premiere of America’s Got Talent on May 14.

As has been the case thus far with the film, the visuals are impressive, cast is solid, and yet I can’t help but NOT get excited. I know many of you are looking forward to this, so I won’t taint it. It does me no good if it turns out mediocre, so I’m always hoping for the best, even if expecting the worst.
I will say that given the choice between seeing THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN or KATY PERRY: PART OF ME on the Fourth of July weekend, there’s no choice at all: I’d see THE AVENGERS again.
