New V lands!

Just a friendly reminder (I had forgotten myself) that the pilot for the
reimagining of Kenneth Johnson’s V will be
premiering tonight on ABC. There will four episodes airing for four weeks this
year and then nine more episodes will surface in early 2010. I’m definitely gonna try to catch it being that I’m a
huge fan of the 2
original V mini-series (and even the crappy TV show that followed).

Should be interesting to see how the update reflects the Post 911 world we
live in and hopefully
it will be a hit and lead to Johnson’s planned big screen V movie. This new V
was directed by fellow Canadian Yves Simoneau (Mother’s Boy – 1994) and its about:
The
world’s first encounter with an alien race in which the aliens call themselves
The Visitors, and have a seemingly friendly agenda that may or may not be a
cover for something more malevolent. The show stars tars Elizabeth
Mitchell, Morris Chestnut, sexy Morena Baccarin and Scott Wolf and you can
