Question: If you put Idris Elba in your film, is it automatically good? It should be or else you are wasting Mr. Elba’s time.

Will GHOST RIDER: SPIRIT OF VENGEANCE be a waste of time? That I can’t tell you for sure. Sort of hard to form an opinion of something that we haven’t even seen footage from. The footage shown during the panel for the film sounds decent from what was described.

Maybe some photos will help? In that new issue of Empire magazine with big helmet DREDD on the cover, there are also pics from the GHOST RIDER sequel as well. There’s three photos: one of Ghost Rider’s flaming head, Nicolas Cage’s serious face, and Idris Elba’s intense stunt face.

Synopsis: The film sees Johnny Blaze, aka Ghost Rider (Cage), hiding out in remote Eastern Europe and struggling to repress his curse. Blaze is recruited by a sect to take on the devil (Ciaran Hinds), who wants to take over his mortal son’s body on the kid’s birthday.
