As Ammon reported a couple days ago, Fox Searchlight Pictures has released the North American poster for the Russian horror epic. Now, on the NIGHT WATCH official site (which looks pretty cool), Fox has released the international trailer that blew away audiences from across the pond. Unfortunately, there’s still no release date for the film here in North America, but like Ammon said, I’m betting around Christmas.
The movie (known as Nochnoy dozor in Russian) stars Konstantin Khabensky, Vladimir Menshov, Valeri Zolotukhin and Mariya Poroshina, and is directed by Timor Bekmambetov. It focuses on the titular band of superhuman “Others” devoted to protecting the world from dark forces, and an ancient prophecy of a violent war between the two sides that threatens to come true in modern-day Moscow.
