Nightmare poster

Last year After Dark Films released a series of horror flicks with a ‘film festival’-like vibe called AFTER DARK HORRORFEST: 8 FILMS TO DIE FOR. Some of the films were winners, some were stinkers, but I don’t think there was any genre loving fool who didn’t respect what they were doing. Great f*cking concept! If you ask me, we need more ‘film fests’ like this.

So lucky for us After Dark is at it again this year with HORRORFEST 2, hitting (select) theaters beginning November 9th and running through the 18th. Yes, I know – why November? Why not cash in on the horror hoopla and rock it in October? Good question. I don’t know. Not that November is a bad month, it’s just… October would be so much cooler! Ah well…

The point, you may be asking? STYD scored the first poster for the HORRORFEST 2 feature NIGHTMARE MAN, and all I can think of is WISHMASTER. Not in storyline or plot or anything like that, but this dude just looks like the WISHMASTER to me. To check out the full poster and see what the flock I’m talkin’ about, click HERE. See? WISHMASTER, all the way.

NIGHTMARE MAN, starring hottie Tiffany Shepis, goes like this: Ellen Morries believes there is someone or something after here. Her husband and psychotherapist believes she’s a paranoid schizophrenic. On the way to the institution, the Morris’ car breaks down. When her husband goes to get gas, Ellen stays and is attacked by a murderous assailant: The Nightmare Man. Escaping into the nearby woods, Ellen stumbles upon a country house where two young couples are spending their weekend. Now, everyone is in danger. But is the killer real or only in Ellen’s mind?

Sounds like a blast to me! Could she be ape-shit crazy, or is there really a psychopath called The Nightmare Man trying to kill her? I can’t flippin’ wait to find out! Have a blast with the poster, and for more shits and giggles, you can check out the trailer for NIGHTMARE MAN below (I hope you’re hungry for T&A, cause it looks like this beast is bursting with it!). November 9th. Be there or be square.
