This new montage from NINE continues the film’s excellent philosophy of “let the music and the hot ladies do the talking.” The footage mixes scenes from the film with rehearsal shots of the actresses (and a few token actors) backstage learning their moves.
Trust me, it’s worth watching for a few lingering shots of Penelope Cruz alone, but Kate Hudson, Marion Cotillard and hell, even Fergie all look pretty great behind the scenes as well as in the film itself.
After seeing the original trailer and now this one, I vote that there’s just no talking in this movie whatsoever. Just have it be one giant musical number with everyone in corsets. If that’s the plan, I predict it will win enough Oscars to sink a cruise ship.
