Ninjas vs Zombies

We’ve seen ZOMBIE STRIPPERS and knew that it was only a matter of time before there were more goofy ZOMBIE flicks to be scattered all over the video store. And we were right. We just got the heads up about a little independent flick that doesn’t take itself too seriously called… you guessed it… NINJAS VS ZOMBIES, and boy does it look fun!

To start with, NvZ goes a little something like this: Seven friends, struggling with late 20s, early 30’s life, find themselves in terrifying danger when a long-dead loved one is magically resurrected and starts devouring souls. To make matters worse, three of them have been granted the power of the Ninja, and now must lead the fight against a power they cannot hope to vanquish. If they fail, the undead will overrun their little town, and maybe the world.

Nice, right? Ok, so it’s super low budget, but could be worth the time. If you check out the trailer below, you’ll notice an abundance of pop-culture / movie references (which is kinda fun), and an over abundance of zombies with only a few actual ninjas. I guess it was too much to ask for Michael Dudikoff to show up and make a cameo, but I would have preferred seeing more dudes in black pajamas kicking ass than the one guy who’s featured. But hey, it features mindless TnA (see above) and plenty of violence, so I’m not complaining!

In the end, you can’t really go wrong with a title like NINJAS VS ZOMBIES, so sit back and enjoy the trailer below.

Thanks to Avery for the heads up!
