Recently while the rest of the world has been learning about the growing concerns of COVID-19 — all while embroiled in the Great Toilet Paper Panic of 2020 — MORBIUS actor Jared Leto posted on social media that he'd first learned about the coronavirus pandemic on Tuesday, after returning from a 12-day meditation retreat in the desert.
“Wow. We were totally isolated. No phone, no communication etc. We had no idea what was happening outside the facility,” Leto admitted on Instagram. “Walked out yesterday into a very different world. One that’s been changed forever. Mind blowing — to say the least.”
As coronavirus continues to sweep the globe, a number of high-profile celebrities have unfortunately tested positive for the disease, including Tom Hanks, Rita Wilson, Idris Elba, GAME OF THRONES actor Kristofer Hivju and "Bond" actress Olga Kurylenko. All are as well as can be expected, and show no immediate signs of lasting effects.
For the moment, the best that any of us can do is to remain indoors, keep clean, and refrain from taking an unnecessary risks. Remember, you might survive coronavirus, but chances are that you can pass if off to someone who can't, if you're not careful. Don't be that person. Stay inside. Get educated. Wait it out.
