Remember just a couple days ago, when I told you about the possibility that PRIDE AND PREJUDICE AND ZOMBIES would be hitting the world of TV mini-series? Well that was bullsh*t.
If you recall there was a Twitter account found with the name PrideandZombies that was claiming to be a Twitter set up for the novel’s upcoming tv mini-series adaptation. To be honest that shite didn’t look too legit from the get-go and I had my doubts right away. Well today PRIDE AND PREJUDICE AND ZOMBIES author Seth Grahame-Smith updated the world via his Facebook (and Twitter!) that there is no such mini-series in the works:
“By the way, there’s NO TRUTH to those PPZ “miniseries” rumors floating around on the Internets. I have no idea who controls the “prideandzombies” Twitter account, but rest assured – it ain’t me. The plan has always been to make the book a feature film.”
So what do you guys say? Good news? If I had to choose between a film adaptation and a tv mini-series… I’d much rather see the flick. I’m sure there are plenty of you out there that would agree with me. Especially if the gorgeous Natalie Portman (below) does end up signing on to star. I bet that’s a long shot though… We shall see!
