Production Weekly reports that Andrew Goth’s THE WRETCHED will start filming this June in New Mexico. The flick stars Chow Yun-Fat as zombie bounty hunter Rellik. I know, how cool is that?
The story itself sounds like good times for all. Rellik introduces his apprentice, Twenty-One, to a dangerous world where zombie outlaws roam the earth, avoiding capture and incarceration in the prisoner catacombs for the Undead. When a wagon train of misguided travelers stumble upon the Monastery and unwittingly release the Undead locked within, Rellik and Twenty-One find themselves facing a jailbreak like no other.
About the only thing I can think of that would make this bad boy sound even better would be if it turns out that Twenty-One is a woman, and played by Jolene Blalock.
