Reports are coming in that not one, but two PARANORMAL ACTIVITY films will be releasing next year. First up is PARANORMAL ACTIVITY: THE MARKED ONES, formerly known as THE OXNARD TAPES, which is the Latino spin-off that we covered back in July. Christopher Landon helmed the project with Richard Cabral, Carlos Pratts, and Eddie J. Fernandez all starring. Right now the film is expected to premiere on January 3rd, 2014.
Next, we have PARANORMAL ACTIVITY 5 which is currently set to haunt theaters on October 24th, 2014. Right now there aren't any names attached to write or direct but it's worth noting that Greg Plotkin was once the frontrunner for the film. Well folks, there you have it; now we have two PARANORMAL ACTIVITY flicks on the horizon for 2014. For the sake of its fans, hopefully this franchise can come up with something new and terrifying because two PA films in the same year could be overkill.
