Of course there’s a giant murder hornet movie on the way

Tasteless, ripped from the headlines exploitation films are a time honored tradition in the horror genre, dating back to the drive-in cheapies of the 30's-50's. And with news of "giant murder hornets" invading the US, the straight-to-digital SCS Entertainment is keeping up that age-old tradition with the unfortunately titled ANGRY ASIAN MURDER HORNETS (who also produced the similarly tone-deaf 5G ZOMBIES).

The plot of the film (like it matters) is about

a fictional invasion of giant, mutated “Murder Hornets” in Southern California, and it’s up to the local Anthropologist to find a way to destroy them before it’s too late, in this modern throwback to the 1950’s era giant critter flicks.

Meanwhile, the upcoming "film" is directed by Dustin Ferguson, and will come to DVD and VOD June 1st…if you were so inclined.
