If you were waiting patiently for the English-language trailer for KRAMPUS to hit, wait no longer! A day after seeing the Spanish version, we’ve got the official preview for the Michael Dougherty-helmed horror flick!

I’m loving the deft blend of dysfunctional family comedy and nightmarish creature feature on display here; who knew they even gave money to movies like this anymore? We might just have a new holiday classic on our hands. (For those of us who prefer watching GREMLINS and DIE HARD to MIRACLE ON 34st, that is.)

When his dysfunctional family clashes over the holidays, young Max (Emjay Anthony) is disillusioned and turns his back on Christmas. Little does he know, this lack of festive spirit has unleashed the wrath of Krampus: a demonic force of ancient evil intent on punishing non-believers.

All hell breaks loose as beloved holiday icons take on a monstrous life of their own, laying siege to the fractured family’s home and forcing them to fight for each other if they hope to survive.

Starring Adam Scott, Toni Collette, David Koechner, Allison Tolman, Conchata Ferrell, Emjay Anthony, Stefania Lavie Owen and Krista Stadler, KRAMPUS opens December 4th.
