Is anyone else stoked for SCREAM 4? I loved the entire SCREAM franchise, hell it’s one of the reasons I’ve grown to love the genre actually, and I just can’t help but get excited for another installment. But worry not folks, I’m not naive. My guard is up for this one and I’m almost afraid to be excited for it… in fear it’ll disappoint. Let’s hope for the best and get on with today’s update!
This isn’t really a huge deal but today the official website for SCREAM 4 went live! We’re not treated to much aside from the early promo poster you see to your right, an opportunity to sign up for email updates, and links to SCREAM 4’s Twitter and Facebook. Actually that’s all we’re treated to, but if you’re digging it you can check that shite out for yourself right over HERE.
Coming from the veteran SCREAM director/writer duo of Wes Craven and Kevin Williamson, the fourth film in the franchise will star Neve Campbell, Courtney Cox Arquette (below) and David Arquette along with some new youngsters to round out the cast. No additional names have been announced, nor a plot for that matter, so right now we’re just dancing on clouds waiting for more details regarding SCREAM 4.
What we do know is that SCREAM 4 has already scored a release date of April 15, 2011 and that it’ll be filming in Michigan throughout the Summer. As soon as we hear more on SCREAM 4 we’ll be sure to pass along the good word to all of you!
