Chris Pine's work on director Olivia Wilde's psychological thriller Don't Worry, Darling is complete, and it sounds like he had a great time on this one. Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, he heaped praise on Wilde, as well as his co-stars Florence Pugh and Harry Styles.
Shooting was wonderful. Olivia is very clear about what she wants. Florence is an incredible actress. I can't speak more highly of her. This is the second time I've worked with her, and every time I work with her, I say, 'I have to meet your parents, because however they raised you, they should be teaching seminars.' Harry Styles is an absolute delight. He's one of the most professional people I've ever met. Couldn't be kinder, more gracious, I mean, really, I was stunned by this kid. He's off-the-charts cool. It's a great cast. You know, life is short, so hopefully you get a chance to make good art with people you really enjoy, and I've been really, really lucky in that regard."

As for the film itself, Pine had this to say:

Written by Carey and Shane Van Dyke, with rewrites by Wilde and Katie Silberman, the story is set "in an isolated, utopian community in the 1950s California desert". It centers on
an unhappy housewife who slowly begins to question her own sanity when she starts to notice strange occurrences in her community.
Pugh plays the housewife, with Styles as her picture-perfect husband, who happens to be hiding a dark secret from her. Pine's character is "the revered leader of a mysterious worksite where all the men work just outside of town". KiKi Layne, Gemma Chan, and Nick Kroll are also in the cast, and Wilde reserved a "key supporting role" for herself.
Wilde and Silberman produced Don't Worry, Darling with Roy Lee and Miri Yoon of Vertigo Entertainment. Catherine Hardwicke executive produced alongside the Van Dykes. Richard Brener, Daria Cercek, and Celia Khong are overseeing the project for New Line Cinema.
Don't Worry, Darling already had my interest, but after hearing how enthusiastic Pine is about it and his collaborators I'm looking forward to it even more.
