Fangoria scored news that the new OMEN remake entitled OMEN 666 (which is currently filming in Prague) has added two more cast members to the fold. David Thewlis, who just recently completed filming on the sequel to BASIC INSTINCT, will take on the David Warner role from the original (no word on if he’ll lose his noggin), and Pete Postlethwaite, who’s been in tons of movies, including the remake of DARK WATER, THE LOST WORLD: JURASSIC PARK and ALIEN 3 will take on the role of the dagger-wielding exorcist Bugenhagen.
Coincidently, both actors were in DRAGONHEART, so bonus for director John Moore. OMEN 666, which also stars Liev Schreiber, Julia Stiles and Mia Farrow opens June 6 of next year, and no more friggin’ 6-6-6 references for me!
