In case you missed the announcement yesterday, THE HOBBIT: AN UNEXPECTED JOURNEY is set to premiere its first trailer tonight at 7PM PST.

While we’re all eagerly looking forward to that, the studio has provided a new image from the film via Empire. Official images have been hard to come by, and this one features Bilbo (Martin Freeman) front and center.

Even though I never actually knew what Bilbo looked like while reading those books, there’s just something about this casting that feels inexplicably perfect. The official FB page has the photo with this caption, which shows who all the blurry background people are as well:

JAMES NESBITT as Bofur, MARTIN FREEMAN as Bilbo Baggins (front), STEPHEN HUNTER as Bombur, GRAHAM McTAVISH as Dwalin, WILLIAM KIRCHER as Bifur and JED BROPHY as Nori in New Line Cinema’s and MGM’s fantasy adventure “THE HOBBIT: AN UNEXPECTED JOURNEY,” a Warner Bros. Pictures release. Photo by James Fisher.

Trailer tonight. Can’t wait.
